Michiko Rehearsal Studios is a staple jazz and classical rehearsal studio in NYC. Initially a subsidiary of Roberto's Winds Inc, established in 1989 on Music Row, Michiko Studios expanded and evolved into an independent company and continues as a family-owned and run studio for musicians of all levels located by Bryant Park.

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9am to 11pm, Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 9pm.
We are on the 7th and 8th floors of an elevator building.
If you book more than 10 hours weekly you may be eligible for a free hour. Bundle deals apply only to upright piano studios (F, G, M), the drum room, and the vocal booths.

A tuner visits weekly for maintenance and is on call. Pianos are not recording-studio ready; for a pre-session tuning, notify several weeks ahead to schedule — additional cost applies.
We do not, however, we do have a vast array of wonderful teachers who utilize our space. If you are looking for a recommendation, please ask our front desk staff!
Microphones, mic/music/keyboard stands, XLR and ¼" cables, dongles, misc cables, and smaller percussion are free. Nord Stage 2 & 3 88-key digital pianos, Nord C1 organ, vibraphones, congas, bongos, cajon, gong, upright bass, Wurlitzer, and smaller synths rent for an additional cost — reserve ahead. Yes — $0.50 per page. Email info@michikostudios.com with instructions and PDF-only documents at least 36 hours ahead; we'll confirm. Prep time required as we're not a copy shop.
Mandatory notice varies by studio (review it on the booking site and confirmation email). Cancellations before the window get a full refund of the rental, minus any service charges.
